I have been accused of living my life thru rose-colored glasses, just like Pollyanna…
“…living life with unduly cheerful, optimistic, or favorable view of things.”
In fact, I have been ridiculed and insulted by some, saying that I do not live in a realistic world.
So what?
Is that really a bad thing?
I actually find it to be in my favor to adopt this optimistic way of life.
I see silver linings in clouds and lights at the end of dark tunnels.
And yep, my glass is always half full.
So what?
Occasionally I stumble and my vision becomes skewed.
It is inside those times that I have the opportunity to experience the intense pain of heartbreak and disappointment.
I learn and grow, forgive and let go.
I have learned that exposing my salty, rusty edges is equally as important as showing the shiny, cheerful bits of my life.
And here at She is Three, I continue to unravel the layers of my entire being, as I share all of my story with you.
My photo above represents the tangible feeling of leaping from the crusty, harsh surfaces of coral rocks and stepping back into the smooth, cool waters of peace and harmony.
This is my choice.
I allow myself to become whole.

Even the Life Coach who I got my certification with, said I was too Pollyanna-ish! I couldn’t believe it.
Early in life this kind of feedback and the negativity of those around me, made me try to reject my true nature but I think I made a pact with myself before I came here to be me 🙂 So here I am in all my Polly Anna glory. <3 <3 <3

There is so much negativity in this world that we need more people who just look for and find the good in things. A friend sent me to this site, and I was delighted to find a positively-focused, creativity-engaged, connection-seeking female in my age group. I’m stuck in my head at maybe 38, so my “real” age of 53 takes me awhile to remember. This 30-day choreography of all that is good–juicy play of many kinds–would be a fabulous backdrop for me working on an interactive book/stand-up/performance art project, while meeting cool peeps and stoking the creative fire. I can’t believe I stumbled across this today. As my 5 year college career in film comes to a close, I feel more lost and nervous than ever. I used to be known for my cheerful warm personality and often accused of living in my own
world, but lately I’ve found myself living in this harsh reality. I’ve been lost in the place where all I can see is the coldness, greed, and spitefulness in the world. I never believed the world I lived in was never an unrealistic one, it was a place of my happiness and source of enlightenment. Inside myself I hear the voice of the love that created and guides all of us through life. I commend you on reaching out. Never change who you are.
